Amber Serr,
Counselor
Penny Pattee has worked for the Blackfoot School District as a counselor for seven years.Penny got her Bachelor’s Degree in Secondary Education History and English from Utah State University and her Master’s Degree in School Counseling from Northwest Nazarene University. Previous to Blackfoot she taught in the Murtaugh School District, in the Twin Falls Area, until becoming the counselor there for 17 years.
Miss Pattee spends her free time entertaining her nieces and nephews, traveling to and from her sibling’s homes in various states, and working outdoors. She enjoys crafting, cleaning, watching live theatre productions, cheering on sport teams, and walking.
She also loves her job and looks forward every day to working with the middle school students at Mountain View Middle School.
Amber Serr has worked for the Blackfoot School District as a teacher for eight years and a counselor at MVMS and BHSG for four years . Amber got her Bachelor’s Degree in Secondary Education History and English from Idaho State University and her Master’s Degree in School Counseling from the University of West Alabama Previous to Blackfoot she taught in the Snake River School District, for two years.

Mrs. Serr spends her free time exploring the outdoors by hiking, UTV riding and paddle boarding. She enjoys short walks in the park with her husband, two sons and their miniature Australian shepherd.
